Cowichan Valley Yoga Classes

Vinyasa Yoga Series
$176.00

This Vinyasa class offers space to connect breath with movement, creating a steady, flowing practice that feels both energizing and grounding. As each movement is guided by the breath, the practice becomes a moving meditation—helping you stay present and connected to your body.

We’ll explore the foundations of key poses while building strength, flexibility, and confidence. Each class includes a mix of seated, standing, balancing, and more restorative shapes for a well-rounded experience.

Expect a welcoming, community-focused environment where you can move at your own pace, ask questions, and feel supported—whether you’re new to yoga or returning to your mat.

Slow Flow to Yin Series
$176.00

This class blends gentle, intentional movement with longer, restorative holds to create a practice that feels both grounding and deeply nourishing. We begin with a slow, breath-led flow to build warmth in the body, moving with awareness and ease.

As the practice winds down, we transition into Yin—holding passive poses for longer periods to support deep release in the connective tissues and invite stillness into both body and mind.

This is a space to slow down, soften, and reconnect. Expect a supportive, community-focused environment where you can move at your own pace, rest when you need to, and leave feeling more balanced and at ease.

Meet Kendra

Yoga, to me, starts as a connection with yourself — but real healing doesn’t happen in isolation. It happens when we’re in connection with others. When we can share the joy, the wins, the hard moments — and feel a little less alone in all of it.

From the moment you walk into class, you’re part of something. This isn’t a space where you silently follow along. It’s a space where you can ask questions, be curious, and show up exactly as you are.

My classes are strong, dynamic, and intentionally accessible. I offer options, props, and pauses so you can meet yourself where you’re at — whether that means stepping back, building strength, or exploring something new. I’ll guide you to listen to your breath as your anchor, so you can learn when to soften and when you might be ready to go a little deeper.

I weave in breath, intention, and small pieces of yoga philosophy to support not just your body, but your mindset and emotional awareness too. My hope is that you leave feeling stronger, braver, and more connected — to yourself and to the people around you.

  • “[Kendra’s] classes feel genuinely welcoming and inclusive, and she has a natural way of making everyone feel comfortable just as they are. What I appreciate most is how tuned in she is — Kendra always seems to read the energy in the room and adapt each class so it works for everyone, whether you’re feeling strong, tired, or somewhere in between. You can really feel how much she cares, and her consistency creates a sense of trust that keeps me coming back. I always leave her classes feeling supported, grounded, and more part of the community than when I arrived.”

  • “I love yoga with Kendra and have been joining her classes for several years. She does a wonderful job fostering a sense of community and is always welcoming, friendly, and supportive. Her classes are well thought out and she accommodates all skill levels and movement limitations. The studio in cowichan bay has a beautiful view, and there is nothing better than a relaxing evening flow as the sun sets over the ocean. I wholeheartedly recommend her classes to everyone looking for a calm, low pressure yoga experience.”

  • "After not practicing yoga for many years - decades actually, as a woman in my 60s, I was somewhat self-conscious and nervous about how I would manage among others - how large the class would be, and whether I could do the poses and stretches without embarrassment. Kendra quickly put my mind at ease by giving the group alternative methods; she was very reassuring. I have now been going to yoga for about 4 years, feeling so much better in my movements but what surprised me was how much more calm I have been able to bring to my day to day life. The sense of being grounded, pushing negative energy away, sleeping soundly - what a blessing! The group is supportive, welcoming and it is due to the energy and skill Kendra brings to us all."
